John and I go WAY BACK to teen church camp days where John was a teenager and I was a youth pastor. He lived and worked in Inner-City Ministry for almost a decade. There he served on staff at Shepherd Community Center, working to break the cycle of poverty in the lives of individuals and families on the near-east side of Indianapolis.
