Induct Mister Rogers into the Songwriters Hall of Fame

Message from Tom Bergeron

Mister Rogers wrote over 200 songs that reached millions of children and parents alike through his groundbreaking television program, "Mister Rogers Neighborhood."

In the last few years, the world has collectively agreed that we need Fred Rogers now more than ever, partially in thanks to the "Won't You Be My Neighbor?" documentary, Tom Hanks' "A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood," and the star-studded tribute album, "Thank You, Mister Rogers."

There can be no denial that Mister Rogers message of self-love, positive community engagement, and caring for our neighbors has made the world a better place. I encourage you to sign this petition on Change.org proposing that Fred should be recognized as a member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
